Dear Diary :)

Remember those days when we wrote looooong diary entries? I'm sure you must have written diary entries at some point of time, even if it was in your English answer sheets in high school. Writing a diary is fun, but if you, like me, don't want to waste papers and hate the feel of a pen in your hand, can definitely use the two softwares I've been using - Forever Journal and The Journal 5.

Forever Journal 2.0  -
Publisher's Description -
Forever Journal is secure Journal writing software for your PC!. It also looks like a real paper journal! But, unlike a paper journal which can be found and read, this system protects your writings with powerful encryption technology. You can choose your paper color, ink color, and other fun settings! Create multiple journals for different writings, each can have it's own settings, icon, and even the titles of your journals are encrypted!
OS Support - Windows 95/98/Me/NT/2000/XP
DOWNLOAD

The Journal 5  -
Publisher's Description -
Keep a journal on your computer! Whatever your journaling or writing needs, The Journal gives you unmatched convenience, flexibility, and security. The Journal is always available when you need it, and lets you make entries with text, images, and just about anything else. Plus, with The Journal's password-protection and encryption you can rest assured that your secrets remain secret.
OS Support - Windows 7 (32-bit & 64-bit), Windows Vista (32-bit & 64-bit), Windows XP, and Windows 2000.
DOWNLOAD
And another convenient option is blogging. You can write a blog as a diary and in case you don't want everyone to read it, you can always select readers for your blog, hide it from Blogger's listings and do not let search engines show your blog.
Happy writing!
Ciao.. :)

The Thumb Rules!

Thinking of painting your nails with the funkiest nail enamels, or getting some crazy nail arts or even an elegant French manicure? Whatever be your plans, a basic and important step is choosing the color for your nails. Choose it according to your nail shape and your complexion. Here's a little help.. :)

Short Nail Beds
Wear light to medium colors - stay away from dark hues since they make tiny tips look even shorter. Fake length with light and shimmery tints.
Long Nail Beds
For long nail beds, file straight across nails and round off edges slightly to prevent snags or scratches. In case you don't like straight files, keep the curve of the nails as flat as possible. You can wear almost any color but stay away from very bright and metallic colors, and also avoid pointed shapes - that might make your nails look like claws.
Wide Nail Beds
Slim the look of wide nail bases with an oval shape. Leave a narrow strip on each side of the nail unpainted. Steer clear of intense colors -- plums, deep reds and browns -- that emphasize width. Pinks and sheers better camouflage your nail size. DON'T even think of keeping them shaped straight.

Fair Skin
Do not wear very light or yellow tones or dull colors - they can make your skin look pale. Choose bright colors to liven up your skintone.
Medium To Wheatish Skin
Most colors look great on this skin color especially colors in lilac and rust. Yellow and orange-based reds are great for wheatish skin.
Dusky Skin
Can wear almost all colors except bright pinks or oranges or dull browns. Yellow and gold tones will look great on you.

Surprise!

I used to say "I love surprises, but I'm the reason why I never get surprises.", but my friends totally proved me wrong! I just celebrated the best 20th birthday anyone could have imagined. So many special gifts, and all my special friends and surprises, surprises and more surprises, which never seemed to end.. Btw, there's a li'l surprise for you too. In case you haven't noticed the address bar yet, just gimme an :O. A b'day gift, from my friend Naman - my blog has now moved from www.princess-neha.blogspot.com to www.neha-jain.com. :) :) and along with the domain name, I got free hosting too, so no more media-fire downloads.. :)
This post was supposed to be more detailed and should have been posted earlier, but thanks to my hostel LAN and my end-sems, I cannot continue further right now.. :|
Keep smiling..

Back! :)

It's been a really busy semester and I had almost given up blogging. But an awesome new theme and a lot of stuff to share pulled me back to my blog.. :)
Starting with the cutest, and my favorite of them all, the ZooZoo desktop downloads- they are simply adorable.. :)
Look here's what they did to my desktop..
Other than the wallpaper, there's a calender (top-right) and an IPL score widget (bottom-right) here..
The IPL score widget is a must have if your browser has a cricinfo.com tab opened after 8pm regularly.. Not only it keeps you updated with the score, but doesn't even let you miss the cheergirls.. ;) These Zoozoos dance on every boundary and cry whenever a wicket goes down! :)
And the calender Zoozoo laughs when you tickle him.. :)
entre eux veulent danser sur votre musique? So here's a Zoozoo skin for your winamp player..
Also check out for some wallpapers, sounds and screensavers here.
Have fun! :)
Ciao..
